NASA to give Human Factors Workshop

NASA will be offering a workshop on Opportunities in Space Human Factors Research and Development at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX on December 11 and 12, 2002.

The workshop will be of interest to human factors and related researchers from university, industry, and consulting organizations, who would like to learn more about NASA’s needs and opportunities for applied human factors engineering research projects. Attendees will be given tours of various NASA JSC facilities and laboratories and presentations on many funding opportunities. In addition potential researchers will be informed about the particular research and development topics that NASA has identified as being important for both low earth orbit and exploration class missions.

Attendees must be US citizens and pay for their own travel and accommodation. There will be no workshop fee. Space is limited.
