OSHA has rescheduled its stakeholder meetings regarding the draft retail grocery store ergonomics guidelines to October 2, 2003; the original September 18 meeting was cancelled due to Hurricane Isabel.
OSHA will also be rescheduling its stakeholders meeting for the draft poultry processing ergonomics guidelines to a later date (not yet announced) to accommodate the date change of the retail grocery guidelines. The poultry processing guidelines stakeholders meeting was originally scheduled for October 2 as well.
OSHA is also working on a set of ergonomics guidelines for the shipyard industry; currently, a draft of these guidelines is still being developed. Thus far, only the ergonomics guidelines developed for the nursing home industry have been finalized.
