Tomboy Tools, the female-based and operated tool manufacturer, recently announced the opening of its Canadian operations in Winnipeg. The company, with a home base in Denver, Colorado, was founded in 2000 by a group of women who were seeking tools that “fit” them.
Operating via in-home demonstrations and through its website, www.tomboytools.com, Tomboy Tools makes tools that are, according to the company, “ergonomically designed” for women. The product line includes hand tools, power tools and home improvement and maintenance kits.
