Even if the employer were willing and able to provide a desk, chair, various props and equipment, in addition to any PC and bit and bobs, many home workers do not have the space for all that. They adapt what they have, or, even more challenging, say the style, color, etc., of the stuff on offer does not fit in with their own home furnishing scheme. And I can sympathize with that
