Overcrowded Hospitals and Poor Hospital Food Making Headlines

The week brought two news items that promise to give hospital administrators, ergonomists and others pause for thought. The first is a study from Australia that reports patients in overcrowded emergency departments are more likely to die than those admitted in quieter times. The second tackles something that has become a national joke in the United States
