NIOSH and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention will co-sponsor a three day symposium titled Steps to A Healthier U.S. Workforce October 26 through 28, 2004 on the campus of George Washington University in Washington DC.
According to a NIOSH press statement, the Symposium Agenda will feature presentations on Health Protection and Promotion: Science, Policy, and Practice, and Economics; a Stakeholder Issues panel: Expectations and Reservations: Opportunities and Barriers From Multiple Perspectives and more than fifteen break out sessions on the past and future of the integration of health promotion and protection focusing on worker health.
