The Alliance of American Insurers has joined the National Coalition on Ergonomics’ lawsuit challenging the legitimacy of the ergonomic standard recently finalized by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
The lawsuit, a petition for review, was filed Nov. 20, in the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. Other petitioners in the suit include diverse groups such as the American Hotel and Motel Association, American Bakers Association and the National Association of Chain Drug Stores.
