Ergoweb Conducts Training for TheZenith – Worker’s Compensation Specialists

During the week of September 17th, 2001, Ergoweb completed the first of two training classes for Zenith National Insurance Corporation safety and health consultants and vocational rehabilitation specialists. The training was conducted in Ontario, California, and included staff from California, Utah, Texas and Florida.

“This is the first step in our program of increasing our capabilities in this area,” said Dan Hair, Senior Vice President, Corporate Safety and Health for TheZenith. “We intend to provide our staff with the very best tools to evaluate these exposures and to assist our customers in developing programs to adequately deal with them. We will be training the rest of our national staff in a weeklong session beginning January 21st, 2002 in Dallas, Texas. In the meantime, we will be developing additional ways to use the best, science-based tools available, to evaluate ergonomic exposures in the field and to develop creative approaches to deal with them. The future of regulation in the area is uncertain, however our goal is to be able to teach our customers the very best practices available so they will be prepared to deal with whatever regulation ultimately develops.”

“The Zenith employees that attended this first training session were uniquely prepared and driven to understand the principles and applications of occupational ergonomics, ” commented Dr. Peter Budnick, CEO, Ergoweb Inc. “We train a lot of people, but the Zenith employees are the best, most committed group we’ve ever worked with.”
