In a December 27 ruling the Ohio Supreme Court upheld a Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) franchise’s right to withhold workers compensation benefits from an injured 16-year-old worker. In so many words, the ruling blames the employee for an injury causing, on-the-job accident.
