Abstracts for presentations are being accepted through September 19, 2003 for the 7th Annual Applied Ergonomics Conference scheduled for March 8 through 11, 2004 in Orlando, Florida.
Featuring education tracts in Manufacturing Applications, Services/Support Industries, Engineering and Design, Ergonomics Programs, Office Applications and a catch-all tract named “Potpourri,” the 2004 Applied Ergo Conferences promises to “play a vital role in helping everyone understand and eliminate occupational health hazards.”
The conference kicks off with pre-conference workshops on March 8, 2004, followed by three days of presentations, discussions and workshops March 9 through 11, 2004.
Also part of the conference is the annual ErgoCup competition, developed to recognize and encourage innovative ergonomics solutions and education in the workplace. Ergonomics teams that have developed a successful workplace solution between February 2002 and February 2004 may enter their innovations or programs into the competition to vie head-to-head against other ergonomics teams for the coveted ErgoCup.
